NINTENDO OTTICO

Kids focus their eyes most when mesmerised by a screen, so Specsavers are putting eye tests in-game on the Nintendo Switch Labo headset.

Ottico is an update to the Switch Labo that places imperceptible eye-test elements inside each game. It also puts glasses on all the characters!

As your child plays, Ottico uses eye tracking technology to measure pupil reflexes, colour vision deficiency, movement and refraction.

Facial recognition lets the child try on different Specsaver frames on the Labo headset.

If the Swtich detects a problem, Ottico sends parents a notification so they can order their child’s prescription right away.

The adjustable cardboard headset means that Specsavers even has their head measurements–everything needed to get the frames set up!
